| Young Executives Club - The Young Executive Club of Chicago (YEC) was started in 1973 as a professional organization to promote leadership among new executives by creating forums with today's top business, civic and government figures. The club was founded by a small group of MBA's from the University of Chicago who wanted to learn from leading executives from different fields of business.
We take pride in the quality and diversity of our membership. Members generally range in age from 27 to 45, and have a minimum of seven years practical business experience. Many of our members are investment bankers, entrepreneurs, management consultants, accountants, general managers, attorneys, commercial bankers, advertising executives, public relations executives, and officers of private and public companies. Many of our members have graduate degrees in areas such as law, business, medicine, psychology and even intellectual property. We continue to restrict membership to foster informality and personal relationships. |
